We've got a walker...sort of...

For the past couple of weeks I have been trying to catch Bekah walking on video. She is not very good about letting me do it. As soon as she sees me with the camera, she starts crawling after me as quickly as she can. She is still mainly a crawler, but she has been working and working and working at walking since before her birthday. She is funny because she doesn't like to do the traditional "walk from Mom to Dad" type of stuff. She really just prefers to walk on her own. She likes to stand up in the middle of a room and just take off. It has only been over the past week or so that she has also done it off of furniture. She will stand up, walk 5-10 steps, fall down and stand up and begin the process again. She will do it over and over and over. I keep waiting for her to crash into the coffee table or something, but she has done well so far.

I finally gave up my quest to get a good video. Here is the best I could do. She does walk a little better than this, but it will give you the basic idea. :) For some reason, when I have my camera she feels the need to hurry (which means crawling) over to me and crawl up my leg or something.

Also...please excuse the "I've ripped my ponytail out again" hair. :)
