A Vicious Cycle

Emma has taken to napping lately. When she naps, she isn't tired at bedtime and stays up way too late. When she stays up late (and still has to get up early to get the kids to school by 8), she is tired and zonks out for a nap at some point during the day. And on and on it goes. I need to make the effort to keep her awake during the day, but sometimes it is nice to just have the quiet (and she's been sick this week anyway). She is not allowed to go to bed in her room when she has napped because she keeps Hannah and Lizzie awake. Last night I was tired of dealing with her, so Joe was in charge of her in the evening. She had to lay on the kitchen floor next to where he was working on the computer. Here she is, all stretched out on the kitchen floor, finally sleeping.
