Fall Fun

We have had the absolute BEST weather over the past week. The temperatures have been in the 60s for the most part. I know that I am a snow freak and really love the winter, but the kids have totally been enjoying the mild temperatures (well, whichever kids are not sick at the moment anyway, hehe). Here are some pictures over the last week or so of the Boyers enjoying the autumn weather.

The kids haven't really used their bikes over the past year and a half. We lived on a super busy street and I didn't feel comfortable with them out there. We took the training wheels off of Lizzie's bike and she was delighted to realized she could ride just fine without them. She now spends every afternoon riding all over the neighborhood!
The basketball hoop is also a big draw. Joe takes on Lizzie in a little one on one. Fair matchup?
Hannah rides her scooter
The kids play in the backyard as well. The prefer playing out front, however, because they have made lots of friends in the neighborhood and can see them there. Every afternoon we have three or four neighborhood kids playing at our place. I am still a bit nervous about my kids playing at houses of people I don't really know, but all of the kids seem perfectly fine playing at our house.
Having not used our bikes for over a year, we do not have one for Caleb. He likes to steal Emma's Big Wheel. I need to move Emma up to a normal bike and give Caleb the Big Wheel (unless pink is just too crazy for a boy...)
Emma objects to Caleb using her bike. Um...MY son would NEVER misbehave!

Hannah (8) helps out by raking the front yard
I'm glad that the kids have had so much fun playing outside in our new house. I was afraid that they would have to wait until next spring to really get to enjoy this aspect of our new place. Thanksgiving is next week, though, and I am ready for the cold weather!!!

I think our kids would get along great! Libbie is 10, Aadric 8 Kaedrin 5 and Ellie 2. When we come and visit in the spring we will have to come and hang out. My kids love their cousins. How fun to have more..

That would be great! Our kids love cousins too. Our kids are so close in age. Of course we seem to have the sexes mixed up...you have girls when I have boys and vice versa, but my kids love playing with boys or girls.

I think we need to work on Joe's defensive basketball stance... ;)
