Summer Fun

After a busy week, we decided that we would stick around home on Friday. It has been nice and warm so the kids had a water day. With Rachel and her kids, we had a lot of little bodies enjoying the summer weather. While the kids played, Rachel and I messed around with our blogs and figured out how to customize them. I know, I know. What can I say? We are so amazing. I hope you enjoy the 4th of July theme I've got going. :)

This is how Bekah (8 months) looked when I came back inside from helping the kids. So sad!

On Saturday, Joe's work had a special showing of "Wall.E", the new Disney movie. We decided to take all the kids for fun. The movie was nice, but it definitely wasn't our best experience at a movie theater. The seats were really crowded (not much space between our legs and the next row) and not very comfortable. Joe and I each had a baby on our lap (Caleb and Bekah) so that made it extra snug. We were each given a soda and some popcorn, which was nice, but there were no cup-holders or much space to put our stuff. This led to not one, but TWO of our sodas being knocked over and spilled everywhere. Our floor was completely sticky, and I was cringing the whole time thinking about how the people in front of us must have been cursing our names! It was extremely embarrassing! I felt so guilty. I think next time they have a showing, we may just get a babysitter for the youngest kids and only take the older ones.
