My bestest friend from high school (Heidi P. Carlson...um, now Heidi Sorensen) just happens to live five minutes away from me. Funny that we could be such good friends as teenagers, and now as adults we both live hundreds of miles away from our parents but so close to each other. Anyway, Heidi married a sort of okay guy named Ivun (just kidding Ivun, heehee, he is a great guy) and they have four beautiful children. This past weekend, they were kind enough to have us over to their place for a BBQ. The kids had a great time playing, um, something (is it a sign of bad parenthood when you're not really sure what your kids were playing for like eight hours?) and the adults chatted and laughed. We also played "Rock Band" on their XBox. We were so good that we will probably be touring soon. :) We stayed VERY late (I think it was around 2:30am when we left), but they were gracious hosts and didn't mention how rude we were. :)
