The Cabin: Working and Hanging around the Cabin...
All play and no work makes...uh...the Boyers a lazy family? Okay, doesn't quite work. Anyway, we did actually do a little work during the week. Derek and Joe mowed the lawns of the two cabins and Rachel and I put some finishing stuff (what is that called? it is totally escaping me right now, grrr) on the outdoor wood chairs/tables. I took a few shots of the fam working. I have also included pictures of us hanging around the cabin here. Joe and Derek each brought an XBox 360 and hooked them together. The adults had lots of fun playing video games together on the split screen. We are quite adept at conquering the universe. :)
Beautiful girls ready for church (Lizzie, Bekah, and Sarah)

Yes, we go into the wilderness and my kids still find a way to play electronics, lol.
Joe is always hanging from the rafters...
Bekah found that if she climbed a few stairs, she could watch the kids out the window. Doesn't she look like she would like to join them? Her mama was too nervous to let her out without a grown-up. :( Poor kid...
Catching up on all their soaps, hehe.

Chow time!
Isn't this a fun loft? Eight queen sized beds all packed together for the little ones. They loved it!
We had lots of vacuuming, lol.
One of the benches Rachel and I worked on (yes, I know that is a hanging preposition, sigh...)

Joe is so good lookin' in an apron!
One day, while Joe and Derek did some work down on the dock, Rachel and I took the babies to the laundromat to wash all the clothes. We were quite the spectacle. We had bags and bags of laundry (laundry for 14 people for a week, plus all the bedding/towels). It was quite an adventure. :)
Bekah thought it was pretty cool to watch the clothes go round.
The laundromat was connected to a gas station. Inside the gas station, there was a little restaurant with booths. We decided that we would buy the toddlers some snacks to keep them busy. What a mistake! They were a huge disastrous mess, hehe. They also spent all of their time running all over the gas station. Helaman enjoyed pulling everything off the shelves while Bekah loved annoying everyone by making the door "ding" constantly, hehe. We were glad the dryers were fast!
