The Cabin: Lakeside adventures

It was pretty much freezing while we were there. The temperatures were in the 30s at night and only into the 60s during the day, with some rain on and off. You would think this would stop the kiddos from daring to venture into the snow-melt water, but noooooooo… They loved it! Derek was the only grown-up brave enough (or, um, crazy enough, I should say!) to play in the lake. The rest of us had fun watching from the shore. :)

The gang at the beach
The scenery was nearly as pretty as my baby Emma :)
The kids always seemed to have some project they were working on down at the lake.
They dislodged this piece of driftwood and loved playing with it
I like this picture because you can see the gorgeous mountains in the background
Gideon and Hannah
Bekah and Helaman explore the landscape around the water
Teancum wades into the lake
Rebekah Lorette
Lizzie builds a dam
Lizzie, Hannah, and Sarah enjoy floating on their log...
Cabers the Babers
The closest I got to getting in...dangling my feet in the water off the dock. :)
Lizzie and Sarah brave the icy waters
Gideon's wetsuit seemed like an awesome idea...until he announced he had to use the bathroom the minute we got down to the beach. :)
Rachel the Diva
Derek enjoys swimming with some good-lookin' women :)
Caleb and Teancum build a sand castle
What a team!

Ahhh... I don't know about that, Jennee!! You must not see us when the kids are bickering and the mom is grumpy. :) See you on Saturday!
