In the backyard of the cabin, there are log benches, a stage, and a fire pit. We decided to have a fire and make s'mores one night. The kids were so excited and decided to put on a talent show as well. They were very cute. All of them, except for the toddlers, had an act. It was so great.I loved being able to watch and enjoy the program without putting any work into it myself. :)
After the program, we roasted the marshmellows. It was pitch black outside. I had almost forgotten how dark it gets out there! I kept taking pictures just so I could check on my kids, lol. I couldn't see them and my "mommy" sensors were going crazy. :) All in all, it was a grand night.
Lizzie and Sarah told jokes through that long tubing stuff. They were so stinkin' cute!
Ammon gave us nightmares with the spooky stories he shared
Both Gideon and Emma sang "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." My pictures of Gideon didn't turn out. :(
Teancum and Caleb didn't technically have anything planned prior to the announcement of their names. They stood up there and grinned and then Caleb burst into some unrecognizable tune. They were adorable, simply adorable. :)
Rapt audience members
Inspired by all the kids, Joe insisted on a skit himself...it was the good old "lawnmower" skit for those of you who are familiar with it.
Derek after Joe's skit ended
Ta-Da! The kids bow for the audience (by the way, all those little spots were actually campfire stuff...at first I was worried that my camera was broken, but then I realized I was okay)
The kids loved roasting marshmallows. They said it was their favorite night of the week. :)

Hannah got the audience involved with a good old fashioned campfire song
