Tis the Season...

...for school programs! We have been very busy attending/watching/participating in Christmas programs. Last week Emma had her preschool program and Ammon had his orchestra concert. I usually grimace trying to figure out all the details of getting us there, and praying that the little ones will behave. Once I'm there, however, I love them! How cheesy, I know...but I honestly tear up a little bit every time. I get that little catch in my heart when I see my babies growing up. During Ammon's orchestra concert, I felt like the townspeople in The Music Man..."That's my Johnny!! Play to me Billy..." LOL

Joe, Caleb, Bekah, and I wait for Emma's show to begin
Bekah and Caleb cruise the gym
Emma was a building block...how cute is that?
Here she is doing her part
Sorry...bad picture. She was very "reserved" as always, but also so proud of how she did!
Ammon chats with his buddies before the concert
The studliest celloist (is that how you say it?)
Ta Da!
This week is Lizzie's program. Hannah doesn't seem to be having one this year. Stay tuned...

That's so funny, because when I was at the kids' music program last week, I thought of that same scene from The Music Man! Especially because the kids sounded so bad on their instruments, LOL!
