I took this video because Caleb was so excited about his game and it's just precious to record the way he talks. He definitely isn't our most verbally advanced child, lol, but his sweet husky kind of voice just makes his mom melt. :) He also has funny ways of saying things...he often hooks "'ike dat" (like that) to the end of his sentences. So, for instance, while we were at regional conference, he was upset with Joe for telling him to be quiet. He came to me and said, "Papa said, shhhh, 'ike dat" in his sad voice. He will do this when he is trying to tattle or explain something that happened. The funny thing about him saying it is that he is almost always sad when using this phrase, so you have to understand the WAY he says it. You have to sort of hear the pout in his voice. :)
He also says, "dis one dat" if he is picking something or pointing something out. If I ask him which cup he wants, he will reply "dis one dat" (this one that) as he points at it.
I may be the only one who appreciates these, hehe, since I am the mom, but I wanted to record them.
