A little pre-Halloween fun

Last Saturday our ward hosted a Halloween carnival. I ended up taking just three of my little ones. How strange. Ammon didn't WANT to go (what is up with older kids?) and Joe wanted to keep packing for our big move this week so he kept Bekah and Caleb home with him. I took my three older girls and we went to the party. It was a pretty fun time. The kids dressed up in their costumes and we enjoyed the nice weather.

Hannah (8), Lizzie (7), and Emma (4) were VERY excited that they had cotton candy!
Hannah and Lizzie loved this open jumpy thing, but Emma wasn't sure about it
My FAVORITE part! Hannah and Lizzie participated in their first ever pie eating contest (mmmm...pumpkin)
I guess Hannah should have taken her glasses off first!
And maybe we should have pulled Lizzie's hair back
Emma loved picking out prizes for all the carnival games. Here she is throwing a bean bag into a snowman
Hannah
Lizzie and Hannah multitask...eating cotton candy and participating in the cake walk at the same time
Emma (4) DID enjoy jumping in the castle (how appropriate). Maybe because it had a top?

We're excited for the real deal this Friday!

Wow, quite the ward party there! Looks like one of Derek's work parties with all those kid jumping things and the cotton candy. I like the multitasking too. :)
