Happy Birthday, Septembers!

If you remember, I call Ammon and Lizzie "my Septembers" because both of their birthdays fall in September. They are actually just a few days apart. We recently celebrated Lizzie's 7th birthday and Ammon's 11th birthday. Here are some pics from the great events.

Here I am with my birthday kids

The kids wanted to celebrate by going to Red Robin

Waiting to be seated (man, those little girls are almost as gorgeous as their dad)

GRAAAAAANDPAAAA! We need quarters! Our poor kids are used to getting quarters off of their sweet Grandpa from our days in Boise at Red Robin! We miss him! They just had to pretend.

Lizzie opens a "faux" present on the morning of her birthday. Her sisters like to wrap up things they already have as "gifts"

Lizzie's only request for cake was that it was "buyed" Hmmm...should I be offended?
Notice the wrapping paper...left over Christmas stuff. Oh, well. It got the job done.
By the time we wrapped Ammon's gifts, though, we ran out of the Christmas paper and actually wrapped one in a BLANKET, hehe.
Ammon only wanted a non-store bought cake. Phew. Guess I'm safe...
"It's just what I've always wanted"
Ammon and Lizzie both got gift cards to Barnes and Noble from Nana and Grandpa. They were thrilled! Our kids love Barnes and Noble more than a candy store!!!

Happy Birthday, sweet babies! I love you so much!!!

Hehe, those are great pictures. Especially of Ammon being so excited about his presents. Hehe, you can really tell! Isn't that cute with kids. They really don't hide their emotions much.

Oh my GOSH, Lizzie looks so much like you, and Ammon's looking so much like Joe!!! How cool is that?!?!

Also, I wouldn't take the "buyed" cake request personally, LOL - we always wanted bought cake (and mac'n'cheese... and, and, and...), too, for a time, because it was new & different - those two-layer cakes were totally awesome compared to our "normal" 13x9 ones, LOL... we were little snots, I know, but it was a phase :-).
