I think I am going to get a summer pass at a local pool. It only costs $40 a month for our whole family. I told the kids I could either afford one session of swimming lessons (which would be $120 total) or we could get a pass for the summer. I'm sure you can guess which option they picked. Our pools require double diapers...a swimming diaper and plastic pants. I found a package of plastic pants at Walmart. Joe decided to try them out on his head. What a goof!

School is almost out!
Tomorrow is the last day of the school year! We are so excited for the summer vacation (we'll see how long I last until I start counting down the days until school starts again, lol). First grade (Lizzie), third grade (Hannah), and sixth grade (Ammon) were AWESOME! We had our best year yet and I am so happy with the progress, socially and academically, that all three kids have made. Next year Emma Sue will enter school as well! It seems that my babies just keep on growing. We have been gearing up for summer. Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks...
Rachel and I did some GREAT yard sale-ing a couple of weeks ago. One of my finds was this swing set. I only paid 50 bucks for it and it is well loved by the kiddos!
It is a good thing that school is ending because getting the sweeties to bed on time has been pretty much impossible. With the sun staying up so late, they just want to play outside forever. We've had a few grouchy mornings, but it has been great to watch them enjoy the yard so much. In this shot, Hannah, Caleb and Emma were watching the sunset.
We had a very busy and exciting Memorial Day weekend. We had lots of family and friends visit and I was pooped! One night I crashed with Emma. Joe thought it was cute and took a picture of us. I think it is so sweet. :) I'm a cheesy mom, aren't I? I just love how Emma is holding me...
