Emma Sue gets glasses

I recently took the older four kids in to see the eye doctor (well, I took all six kids with me, but only the older four were actually having their eyes checked). I don't even want to tell you what a disaster that was! It took nearly two hours and the babiest Boyers were going crazy! Bekah was running all over the place, screaming and ripping glasses off of the shelves. Argh! I thought I might go crazy as well.

ANYWAY, lol, my kids seem to have inherited the Burton astigmatism along with the Boyer crooked teeth. :( Poor kiddos! Emma is the latest to join the esteemed group of Boyers with glasses (Me, Joe, Ammon and Hannah...Lizzie's vision was still great thank goodness). She is my first preschooler, however, to have specs. I hope she can take care of them better than Hannah Bayhas! I think Hannah has gone through like six pairs of glasses in three years. Speaking of Hannah and glasses, she is now desperate to have contacts. Ugh. She is only nine and in third grade. I think that she is way too young. What do you think? How old should someone be before they get contacts? How old were you when you got them?
