It's raining! Oh, wait...not that kind of shower!
Last weekend, my "girls" came to visit! My mom, my sis Emily, and my sisters-in-law Donnetta and Kerri drove up from Boise. They also brought along Addie, Emily's oldest, and Ella, Emily's newest! It was so great to see them. They came for a wonderful event. My sweet cousin Michelle has been wanting to have a baby for some years now and is soon to have that dream realized! We are all so thrilled for her. She is due with her baby Gracie very soon. The women folk of the family had a shower for her. I love my extended family so much! They are wonderful, inspirational women and I love visiting with them. It was also special for my newest niece, Helen Bay Richards (Ella), to meet her namesake and great-grandmother, Helen Bay Gibbons. It was very sweet to watch them together. What a wonderful family I have been given. I love all of you!
We can hardly wait to meet baby Gracie!
Four generations! My grandmother Helen Bay Gibbons, my mother Suzanne Bay Burton, my sister Emily Richards, and my niece Helen Bay (Ella) Richards
The proud soon to be new aunt Lisa (she brought her own little guy with her!)
Sisters! My mom and my aunt Ruth
LOVE THIS PICTURE! Emily, you ought to photoshop it and frame it. Grandma spent most of the shower rocking and singing to little Ella. I love that you can see how she is saying shhhh to Ella and Ella seems so secure. I also like Grandma's older, wrinkled hand holding and comforting her and Ella's hand is similar but tiny and clutching! What a treasure for baby Ella to someday see how her great-grandmother loved her!

Awesome pics, Lori! Would you email a hi-res version of the one with the two Helens? Thanks a million!
