Since Independence Day was on a Sunday this year, we did most of our celebrating on Monday instead. We attended the Freedom Festival Parade, went out to Red Robin for lunch, watched the movie "Independence Day" with Will Smith, had a BBQ and did fireworks. It was so nice to have my parents here to spend it with.
We got up very early to get to our seats at the parade. The kiddos were freezing in the early morning. The seats were perfect, though, and we had a great view of the show!
Bekah's stroller was sort of used by any child needing a seat

Hannah broke a board. Boys, you had better watch out for this one, hehe.
Starting to get hot! By the end we were all pretty darn toasty. :)
Nana and Grandpa went and bought flags to decorate the yard. The kids had a ball with them. :)
Oh Beautiful, for spacious skies...

In most of my pictures, the flags were covering the kids' faces. You can still see sweet Ammon's eyes, though. :)
And another face covered, haha. Cute Bekah is behind that flag.
Little patriots in the making!

We went and watched some of the city fireworks. We also did our own at home, but I failed to take any pictures of those.
Happy birthday, America! You're looking pretty good for a young 234!
