Joe and I are uninsured. We have been using COBRA, but I accidentally forgot to send in the payment for January. You must mail it by the 30th of the month or they cancel it...with no chance to renew. Well, with all the holiday stuff and all, I sat there on the 1st of January and realized I hadn't sent it in. Oops. Joe's insurance at his new work will start on Feb 1st, but for some reason I am completely PARANOID that something is going to happen between now and then. It seems a little silly to be so concerned, especially because in 2009 we went to the doctor exactly TWO times. In fact, we have been paying for COBRA since July but have never used it! Ugh.
Anyway...last night I lay in bed counting how many days it would be until we were insured again. Haha. And the answer? Thirteen days! It can't come fast enough. :)
