All Hallow's Eve 2009

Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor H1N1 virus will keep the Boyers from having a wonderful Halloween! We have been a big bunch of sickies lately. The kids have had the flu and both Emmers and Hannah missed their school Halloween parties. :( Ammon and Lizzie have also been sick. Caleb and Bekars seems to have missed it for now (although today Caleb woke up with a rash all over his body). We promised the kids that we would still let them trick or treat, even with the flu. We dosed them up on drugs and they had a good (although somewhat short) time trick or treating. The Nortons are also afflicted with the flu, so they joined us. Considering all the sickness, we had a pretty good time. :)

Ammon (skeleton), Lizzie (vampire), Hannah (black cat), Bekah (Care bear), Emma (witch), Caleb (Care bear)

At the first house. We have tons and tons of kids in our neighborhood and it was fun to see big groups all around.

See Caleb running from the house in excitement? It didn't start that way. This was the FIRST time Cabers has ever been trick or treating. Last Halloween we were moving and the year before that I was having a baby the next day. Needless to say, we always opted to leave him home and just take the older kids. For some reason he did NOT want to go this year either. He had a huge cow and I basically had to force him into doing it. After a few houses of people handing out free candy, he got the idea :)

The youngest kids got tired so we took turns pulling them in the wagon. The oldest boys actually went home early because they weren't feeling well. :(

We still got pretty good loot
