Welcome President Obama

Yesterday was an historic day for the United States. Our first African American president was sworn into presidency. While I did not vote for President Obama, I support him and pray that he will be inspired in his decisions. The children all watched the inauguration (I didn't, lol...I thought it was in the evening, not the morning) at school. They came home SO excited about it. They talked non-stop about it all. They were very touched by the things President Obama said and very hopeful for the future. Ammon even said that he started to tear up as he watched (which is a pretty amazing thing for an 11 year old boy to admit). So...here's to the new administration. I pray they will be led to do what is right for our country. :)

I love this picture of President Uctdorf and Elder Ballard at the inauguration.
