Uncamping

I mentioned earlier that we had been planning on a camping trip. When some of the kids and adults ended up sick, we decided that we didn't want to brave the 35 degree overnight temperature forecast for the area with fevers and coughs. Instead, my parents brought their tent trailer over to Emily's house. The (non-sick) kids slept in the garage in the tent trailer. We had already planned and purchased everything for our meals for camping, so we still got together on Friday evening for our dinner and Saturday morning for the breakfast.

The dinner spread
Our cute "almost first graders", Lizzie and Karl
Jake and James both look thrilled to have their picture taken :)
Hannah and Brielle feels some strange need to hug for every picture
Emily emerges from her bedroom long enough to eat and threaten me with my life
Cute girls ready for camping...Emma, Lizzie, Brielle, and Hannah
More campers. Ammon, Karl, Emma and Addie
Addie and Lizzie watch a movie in the tent trailer
Snug as a bug
You notice how Emma is sleeping? Well somehow that back flap didn't get secured the right way and in the morning, she fell through it (with her pillow and blanket she says) right onto the concrete floor of the garage! Oops
Nana cooking the breakfast. Boy was it yummy!
Breakfast eating
Maybe it's a good thing we skipped the frigid camping. We were cold enough eating breakfast outside, lol. Notice Donnetta's jacket and Lizzie's winter coat.
