Tim Jr.

Ammon is the sweetest almost-13 year old that you could ever meet. He is generally so helpful and kind (although he is not completely immune from those famous 13 year old hormones, hehe). One area that he cracks me up, though, is with the younger kids. I believe that he thinks he is their third parent. He is constantly taking binkies away or telling kids to get a jacket or whatever. Recently he has become extremely irritated when the kids leave lights on. When I was a kid, my dad would be soooooooooo grumpy if we left lights on in the house. He would grump around the house turning them off and muttering about how much money we were costing him.

Ammon is the EXACT SAME WAY!!! And he isn't even the father, lol! After a few episodes of Ammon getting extremely agitated with the younger kids for leaving the lights on when they left a room, Joe and I sat him down to talk about it. We asked him why it was such a big deal to him when it really didn't affect him that much. He replied, "It DOES affect me! It totally raises our utility bill through the roof!" LOL. Just if you're wondering, no...our 13 year old is not responsible for paying the bills. :) Cute guy. I guess he is just a Tim Jr. in the making. :)
