Stars in the making

One of Hannah's friends from school called this summer to ask if she would like to be in a play. Of course Hannah agreed and Lizzie decided to do it as well. They practiced three times a week for most of the month of July and then held the performance in front of family and friends. Hannah's friend (Annika) did the whole thing...she wrote, directed, produced, ran all the practices, etc. I was very impressed. Of course, some of the dialogue was what you would expect from a soon-to-be fifth grader, but I would be thrilled if my kids chose to do something so worthwhile over their summer break! On a recent Saturday evening, the Boyer fam headed over to check out the show. It was very fun and the girls had a great time.
