Memorial Day 2011

For Memorial Day, Nana and Grandpa invited us all over for a BBQ and a swim. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit overcast and cool and the swimming pool needs major repairs! We decided to do a hot tub and BBQ instead. :) I think the kids were just excited about getting in the water. After the Richards and a couple of Boyers were in the hot tub, they were suddenly attacked by ants! There were thousands of dead ants everywhere--grossing all the kids out. :) Everyone evacuated the hot tub and Grandpa had to drain it to get it cleaned up. That meant a quick end to the swimming party, but the food and company was still amazing!

My sweet Lizzie is so beautiful--I can't believe she is going into 4th grade this next year!

Ella Bay only likes me about 50% of the time--I'm not sure which this time is :)
