Halloween 2010
Ammon was 13 but begged for one more year of trick or treating. I agreed on the one condition that I was NOT buying him any sort of costume, hehe. I'm so mean. He ended up making a civil war soldier costume out of stuff we had and it went well. It was a very RAINY Halloween. I mean buckets and buckets of rain. I was just telling Joe that I used to love the rain and the snow so much, but now that I've got kids it is much more annoying. It gets in the way of so many things for them. Anyway, Rachel and I took all the seats out of her van and we loaded the kids up (oh and her van stinks to this day from all the water the kids got on the floor...oops!). After the very first house, Bekah was soooo wet and miserable that we took her home with the men. Hannah took Bekah's bag around and asked for candy for her little sister :). The funny thing is that Bekah looks back so fondly on trick or treating. Even as I am posting these pictures, she is getting so excited about it. Haha. Hopefully next year will be better.
My kids are getting so big!! From left: Lizzie (zombie), Ammon (civil war guy), Caleb (stormtrooper), Hannah (Miss America), Emma (skeleton) and Bekah (she INSISTED on being an army guy, hehe...so cute)
