Mudder's Day

Although this post is somewhat belated, I didn't want to skip over Mother's Day this year. It was a really fantastic day. I think that we often hope that our kids will be really well behaved and it doesn't usually turn out that way, lol. They were pretty good this year, however, much to my pleasure. :)

Joe and the kids went out of their way to make it very enjoyable. My kids love special occasions and always do their best to make that person feel amazing. I enjoyed breakfast in bed, my favorite dinner, presents, cards and kisses from the kids, and just a general work-free day. It was pretty wonderful. I am so grateful for my sweet children, and especially for my amazing husband.

The kids gather round while I open my presents (there were a LOT of odd pictures of me in this bunch, so you get what you get and you don't have a fit!)

While I look nerdy in all these shots, the thing that annoyed me the most was that I couldn't crop out that messy background (and now I'm drawing your attention to it as well, haha)

I hope all the mothers in my life had (fairly) stress-free days as well. I love you all. :)
