Good thing Joe has so many daughters...

...because our ward seems to have a LOT of daddy daughter dates! The last one was in the fall, so this is two activities in just six months. The girls were sooooo excited. Since the activity included dinner, I told the boys that I would take them out (for "kids eat free") as well. It was the first time I had just the two boys for a date. It was very fun. They had VERY different conversation styles (Ammon wanted to discuss more grown-up stuff than Caleb), but we made it all work. Why do we always have Mother/Daughter, Daddy/Daughter, Father/Son activities, but hardly ever have Mother/Son ones?

Unfortunately, Hannah Bay started feeling sick to her stomach just before the date. She ended up staying home alone while the rest of us all went on our dates. After 30 minutes or so, her stomach ache passed (she had some Tums) and she was fine. She was bummed to miss everything, though. The kids are getting to such fun ages. They are great kids and we sure love them!

King Joe with three of his four daughters...Hannah was missed like crazy!

There was an older teenage girl sitting next to them at their table. She loved Bekah and immediately started taking over all the food duties for her. She cut up Bekar's hot dogs and helped whenever she needed something. Joe was very grateful for the help. :)

Joe had such good-lookin' dates!

They played some get-to-know you games and then Joe took the girls outside to play in the grass. They all rolled down the hill and ran, ran, ran!

It was very chilly (as you can see by Bekah's expression)

Not sure where Lizzie and Emma got that ball, but they had a lot of fun running and playing in the grass with their dad.

Silly girls
