Oquirrh Mountain Temple

My USB cable has arrived! Huzzah! I went to mailbox to discover an adorable little envelope with Chinese symbols all over it and postmarked from Hong Kong. How cute, hehe. Anyway, I thought I would do some updating of the old blog!

Nearly a month ago, we visited the Oquirrh Mountain temple open house. It was great! I was so impressed that even though we were on our third temple open house in a year, the kids were still super excited. :) Emma kept saying "We're going to the temple! We're going to the temple!"

We went with the Nortons and some of Rachel's family. Her sister and husband and kids were visiting from Virginia and her mom was there as well. It was nice to meet some of their family and wonderful to be in the temple again. It has a gorgeous view of the entire Salt Lake Valley. I would love to go do a session there some time!

My boys!

We were allowed to take STROLLERS in the temple! This was the only temple of the three that allowed them. We believe it was due to the fact that the temple was nearly all tile! Very different, but very pretty.

Adorable Januarys

They drove by with this cart and offered to give us a ride. Caleb LOVED it!

My Hanny is so wonderful :)

Silly Septembers

When we were done, I asked all the kids what their favorite part was. Hannah piped up quickly to say "NOT the cookies" LOL

At the end, I wanted to take a picture of the kids, but they were DYING of the heat, lol. It was over 100 degrees outside that day and they were so hot! My guess is that if you click on the picture, you might be able to see their long suffering expressions.
