This was definitely the favorite ride. Joe said that it actually went really fast. The kids loved it and did it over and over again. You can see Ammon and Lizzie in one car, Joe and Emma in the next, and Hannah by herself in the one behind them. :)

Our trip to the Germ Farm
Okay, okay. It wasn't technically a germ farm, but it sure FELT like one! A couple of weekends ago, we took the kids to visit one of those fun kids places. It had rides and games and pizza and such. We went with the Nortons and really had a fantastic time. We were there for nearly four hours! We played and played and played. Of course, we have a suspicion that we picked up the strep throat we've had there, lol, but it was worth it! You know, I was never a germ freak until I was a parent. Never. I didn't even really think about germs (except on really nasty things). Now I look at something and think...ewww germs! I just hate it when my kids are sick. This place was so crammed with kids that I just knew there were those nasty bugs everywhere. I saw my own Emma sucking on the bars (ugh...I shudder even writing this) while she was waiting in line. Yuck! Anyway, lol, we still had a wonderful time!
Waiting in line for bumper cars (THAT is the bar Emma was sucking on...shudder)
Bekah spent the first hour or so in this stroller. At that point she got fussy so I took her out. BAD idea! I then spent the next three hours chasing her everywhere (yes she can run, sigh). She loved it though! On a side note, if you look down, you can see Emma's shoes on the wrong feet, hehe. How do kids manage to ALWAYS do that?
My sweet Hannah and Lizzie
I'm glad we've got a few years before they can actually get their licenses!
I took this picture after Caleb had just gotten off his first ride. He was so excited and saying, "COOL, Mom!"
Emma LOVES her older brother Ammon lately. She always wants him to take care of her. He is so great and helpful with her. He was always willing to ride on things with her. :)
Joe and Caleb on a teacup thingy. Just watching it made me feel sick!
Emmers and her Papa
The swings used to be my favorite ride at the fair. The ones here were definitely on the "little kids" scale of a ride. The older kids thought it was lame, with a capital L, but it was great for Emma and Caleb.
My Septembers
Emma, Caleb, and Hannah
What cute kids! The first time they all rode this ride, they got off halfway through! It goes forward, stops, and then goes backwards. They didn't know it was supposed to keep going, so they got off after the first half, lol.
The Merry-Go-Round was the only ride I got on. At one point, I was so tired of chasing Bekah that I took her on it. She actually quite liked it, I think. In this picture are Papa, Emma, and Caleb (can you find him?)
The kids also got tokens to earn tickets. Caleb loved the "gaming" aspect of the night.
Brothers
I had to throw in a shot to prove that the Nortons were there, hehe. Ammon and Gideon
Joe and Caleb on the airplane ride
Emma and Caleb on a safari. Caleb loved driving his own "voom car."

Ah, yes... I don't know what allure handles/bars hold for kids' mouths, either, but Kiddo still does that on GROCERY CART HANDLES. It's been everything I can do not to have a stroke RIGHT THERE IN THE STORE when he does it. Mostly when he's tired, of course, but still... EW.
Haha, my older kids aren't too fond of that swing ride either. Our kids looked a lot like yours when we got home too. I only wish I could have slept while they drove (although, now knowing their skill or lack thereof while watching them on the bumper cars, it's probably a good thing they didn't). I was exhausted!
