Once a week, Joe and I try to go on a date. The day may vary, depending on when Joe works, and sometimes we have an "at home"date by locking ourselves in our room and eating dinner together and watching a movie. It has been very fun, and always relaxing for me to get away from the kiddos. Last weekend, Joe took me out to dinner (yum) and then we went to the dollar store. I know, I know. Nothing but the best for me.:) Actually, we needed to pick up a flashlight and some sunglasses for a thingy Ammon is in at school. He had to have them by Monday (okay, he was actually supposed to have them in on Friday, but that is what happens when he doesn't tell me he needs them on Friday until Thursday night). We bought each of the kids a little something and headed home. I love going out with my sweetheart!!

how fun! I LOVE the dollar store, it's the best. I'll have to admit that Jonathan and I have spent a date night or two at the dollar store, too! Your blog is so fun - I loved reading your “day in the life” post. You are such a cute mom. Sometimes it is hard with one, and you've got 6! I really look up to you - what a cute family you've got!
