Our Easter wasn't really what we had planned. Our good friends, Derek and Rachel and kids were going to come over for a nice Easter dinner and an egg hunt for the kids. Saturday night, however, Hannah and Bekah decided to start throwing up. Joe stayed home from church with them (and Emma and Caleb) and I took Lizzie and Ammon to church with me. It was nice to be able to listen to the messages without a million interruptions. After sacrament meeting, Ammon started feeling sick as well so I ran he and Lizzie home and went back to play the piano in primary. We had to cancel with our friends and we ended up not doing anything for Easter at all. We are planning to do our egg hunt as part of Family Home Evening tonight (as long as everyone is well...Lizzie threw up last night as well). Nana and Emily's kids are coming to visit today, and then Granpa is flying in on Wednesday. The kids are SOOO excited to play with their Richards cousins!
My four girls...Hannah in the first picture is in our "typical" vomiting pose. When the kids are sick, they lay on the floor of my room with a bowl so that the minute I hear retching, I can spring from my bed and make sure it gets in the bowl, instead of the floor. The second picture is of Lizzie, Emma,and Bekah on the floor.

It is a good thing we didn't come over. Later that day we weren't feeling so great either. We are still trying to finish off the dessert we had planned. Maybe that's why we're so sick. Haha --The Nortons
