We played around the house and then Grandpa and I took the older kids bowling. It was quite the time! Emma, Lizzie, Hannah, and Grandpa were the winners for the two games (we were on two teams...overall for each game, Grandpa one the first and Lizzie won the second).
Eldest children are often very concerned with score keeping!Lizzie(6) relaxes before her next turn
Brielle(4) was very patient and sweet!
Ammon (10) and Grandpa check out Karl's form!
Emma(4) lines up her shot
Oh, dear! Not her best shot of the day...Hannah (8) looks on
Ammon (10) approves of the day!
Nana stayed home with Caleb, Josh, and Bekah. She also decided to tackle the most impossible job of the Boyer household...LAUNDRY! For all of you who have seen the horror we call a laundry room, you will be happy to hear that Nana couldn't put up with that for another minute! She worked diligently for the last day and a half and I was only left with eight more batches! :) I took a few pictures after she had worked to get some of the mess taken care of (Heidi and Rachel...these are mainly for you...)
More laundryThere are even hanging clothes! Hooray!

I heard that Emma won the first bowling round. Its fantastic what bumpers can do!
I love your pics of the laundry. It reminds me of when I sorted ALL our clothes - all sizes, all seasons, all ages. I dumped it all in a pile in Mom and Dads living room and watched TV while working(Mom was out of town, of COURSE). The pile was literally 4 feet tall and about 8 feet in diameter. Big families are fun, arent they?
