LOL. Just kidding! Happy belated April Fools Day! I am not typically one of those people who gets into April Fool's Day, but this year the kids were all crazy about it. Their teachers and friends had been doing tricks all day so we decided to play a trick on Joe. :) We had this great plan to tell him that I was pregnant. I actually had been a bit under the weather lately, so I thought that it just might work. The kids were so funny about it. They were REALLY into practicing before he got home from work. I just couldn't do it. They would take turns being Papa coming in the door (which was funny enough...them trying to boom out Hello Honey and stuff, hehe) and one of the other kids would run up and tell him that Mama is having a baby. Well, I would always laugh. I am just the worst actor at this kind of stuff. So we tried, and he says he believed it for half of a second, but then he was very suspicious. I tried to be serious, but I just couldn't stop that twinkle in my eye (and then I started laughing). Oh, well. The kids said they loved me anyway, even if I was a miserable failure at pulling a prank on their dad. :)
Instead we decided to make green eggs and ham (and blue milk and red butter on our toast) for dinner. The kids (with the exception of Caleb who mostly just eyed it suspiciously) loved it.
Happy April Fools! I am so glad I am NOT pregnant, lol!
