Snow! Yay! When Joe woke up and saw all the snow, he turned on some Christmas music for the kids before they got on their heaters. It was very exciting!After we took the big kids to school, the little kids had so much fun playing in the snow! Caleb has always hated the snow...he didn't like getting all cold and yucky. I was so happy that he seemed to finally be old enough to appreciate it. Bekah, of course, has loved the snow since birth, lol. When my older kids were little, I used to complain that I spent an hour getting them dressed for the snow, and then about five minutes after being outside, they would all come back in (leaving another hour of cleaning up all the mess, lol). It was so fun today that the little ones stayed out for nearly an hour! So great. :)
It is kind of a tradition in our house that anytime the kids come in from playing in the snow, Mama makes them hot chocolate. There is nothing like hot chocolate to warm up a little (or a not-so-little) body. :) Here are some pics of Cabers and Bekah with their yummy drinks after playing.
